About

Gareth Crory Design is an industrial design and product engineering studio based in Belfast, run by Gareth Crory. We take hardware from the first sketch to a product that can be made at scale – and make it look as good as it works.

The studio

Projects range from industrial equipment and connectivity hardware to consumer tech accessories and robotics. Some start as a blank page; others start with an existing product that costs too much to make, wastes material or no longer meets its customers’ needs.

Every project is shaped around manufacture from day one: fewer parts, standard materials where they work, and designs that factories can build without surprises. High-quality renders and clear documentation keep clients, investors and manufacturers aligned along the way.

Gareth Crory Design is a Belfast-based industrial design and product engineering studio. We’ve delivered hardware projects for clients worldwide across engineering, manufacturing and consumer sectors. Recent collaborations include Cougartron (Denmark), Ted Baker, Decora Blinds, ISCA Technologies (USA) and Maker & Son (UK).

How we work

  1. Discover

We start with your product, your users and your constraints – cost, volumes, materials and deadlines.

  2. Concept

Sketches and early 3D concepts explore the options before any money goes into tooling.

  3. CAD & engineering

Detailed CAD, material selection and design-for-manufacture turn the chosen concept into real parts.

  4. Prototype

3D-printed and functional prototypes test fit, function and performance, and feed back into the design.

  5. Manufacture handover

Production-ready files, drawings and renders, with support as your manufacturer gets started.
